HON. EVORA A. THOMAS

Judge Thomas, when she was only 30 years old, was the youngest person in the country appointed to preside over a municipal court system. Since then she has devoted her time and energy primarily to leadership in organizations providing legal services to under served populations. Her experience in personnel management and employment law led her to develop an expertise in designing diversity training modules for governing bodies and legal staff managers.

Evora has also spent over two decades in lay ministry teaching leadership values, empowerment and inclusion. She has frequently been invited to train participants and members of organized congregations, women’s retreats, conferences and conventions.

Evora is among the first women graduates of Princeton University. She also attended The Georgetown University Law Center where she earned a juris doctorate.
